This antenna has a simple structure and can be constructed by creating a slant at the end of a circular waveguide. The main property of this antenna is its suitable radiation by excitation of some modes such as TM01, which are symmetrical. The analysis of the antenna is done qualitatively and then the manner of its design is introduced. A pen-shaped antenna is designed in the X band and then is simulated, fabricated, and its performance is measured. در اين مقاله آنتن خاصي كه آنرا آنتن قلمي‌شكل مي‌ناميم معرفي مي‌شود. اين آنتن داراي ساختار بسيار ساده بوده و از برش مايل انتهاي يك موجبر دايروي بوجود مي‌آيد. ويژگي مهم اين آنتن امكان تشعشع مناسب آن هنگام تحريك توسط مود متقارني مثل 01TM مي‌باشد. ابتدا نحوه تشعشع آن بصورت كيفي توضيح داده مي‌شود و سپس نحوه طراحي آن ارائه مي‌گردد. يك آنتن قلمي‌شكل در باند X طراحي و شبيه‌سازي شده و سپس ساخته مي‌شود. نهايتاً آنتن ساخته‌شده آزمايش و نتايج آن ارائه مي‌گردد. آنتن قلمي‌شكلبرش مايلموجبر دایرویمود TM01 http://ijece.org/en/Article/Download/27855
